We recently stayed at Sandy's Place in Barrydale for a night during our Route 62 trip. The hosts were most accommodating, friendly, and welcoming. They even showed us the secure area where our little dog could run about. The hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable, exceeding our expectations. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation and will definitely stay there again when we return.

The self-catering apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, a veranda with a grill and fireplace, and a clean bathroom with hot showers. The house also features electric blankets, a lovely back garden with a BBQ area, and good value for money.

I had a wonderful stay at Sandy's Place in Barrydale. The unit was spacious and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly enjoyed the built-in braai on the stoep and the access to the swimming pool. The safe parking and accessible staff were also a great bonus. The unit had a large fridge in the kitchen and a bathroom with both a bath and a shower. The starter fire pack provided was a nice touch. The location was perfect, as I could easily walk to the nearby restaurants and art/craft/antique shops. it was a fantastic experience.

Barrydale is a mind-blowingly beautiful town and Sandy's Place is like a hidden gem right in the heart of it. The location is super convenient, with all the amazing restaurants within walking distance. Our unit was equipped with everything we needed and was so comfortable. Having parking right outside the door was jaw-droppingly convenient. And oh my, when we saw the outdoor swimming pool, it was a bonus that was beyond words! The hosts were so attentive and made us feel right at home. Plus, the bathroom and braai facilities were top-notch. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the area felt super safe. Sandy's Place offers incredible value with each apartment having all the amenities you could dream of and more. It was an experience that left us completely blown away!

Sandy's Place in Barrydale was a great find for my one-night stopover. The unit/apartment was spacious and well-equipped, with a bathroom larger than some hotel rooms I've stayed in. The shower was fantastic, just be sure to follow the instructions. I loved the calm colors of the bedroom and the heavenly bed and linen, especially with the electric blanket. Waking up to the glorious view of the dawn light on the mountain from bed was a highlight. Reliable WiFi was also a bonus. Sandy herself was a delightful host, adding to the overall positive experience.

We had a lovely romantic getaway in a village with friendly locals. The spotless and comfortable accommodation was well-equipped, and the calm colours and heavenly bed with fresh white linen were the highlights. The reliable wifi and the very thoughtful items, such as the mozzie plugs, made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The pool was another plus, especially on a hot summer day reaching 45C, and we appreciated the fresh towels provided.

We struggled with the dated style and plastic chairs outside and the heat overnight in the room, with no aircon, only a fan provided. The gas geyser instructions were tricky, and the TV was hard to operate, with no music channels available.
